The Afterschool & Recreation Working Group comprises of Stellenbosch based civil society impact organisations involved with after school and recreation programmes for children.

- Programme efficiency improvement, based on impact evaluation
- Psycho-social support resource procurement
- Parent involvement in afterschool programmes

- Teen initiatives addressing relevant challenges
- Further career-based skills development for high school students
- Quality control measure advocacy to ensure practitioner standardisation and best practice adherence
